Commercial Vehicle Wraps in Manhattan
Most vehicles that work in Manhattan do not live there. They start the day in a garage in Queens, New Jersey or the Bronx, cross a bridge or tunnel, and spend the shift parked outside office towers, hotels and storefronts. The wrap has to read clearly from a sidewalk at close range.
Our bay at 4700 Northern Blvd in Long Island City is a short run from Midtown over the Queensboro Bridge or through the Queens-Midtown Tunnel. Manhattan fleets tend to come to us, because a level, lit bay gives a cleaner result than a curb lane on 37th Street. Design, print and install are handled by the same team.
Design and print happen in-house on 3M, Avery Dennison and Oracal cast media with a UV laminate, working from your artwork or drawing it up around the panels of the actual van so the logo, phone number and registrant address sit where they can be seen.

What we wrap in Manhattan
The vehicles Manhattan businesses actually run
Building-service and contractor vans
Renovation crews, plumbers, electricians and HVAC techs running ProMasters, Transits and Sprinters to Midtown and downtown job sites. Company name, trade and registrant address on both doors, with a larger graphic on the cargo panels when wanted.
Courier and delivery vehicles
Small vans and step vans doing same-day runs between the Financial District, Midtown and the Upper East Side. They get scuffed against loading docks, so the layout stays simple enough to replace one panel later.
Hospitality and catering vehicles
Catering vans and refrigerated trucks serving hotels, venues and corporate dining rooms. Clean typography and a food or brand image that holds up with a guest standing next to it.
Promo and activation vehicles
Short-term wraps for launches and pop-ups around SoHo, Flatiron and the retail corridors. Removable film, tight turnaround, and artwork built for people walking past rather than traffic on an expressway.
Garage-based fleets
Fleets kept in Manhattan parking garages with low ceilings and tight ramps. We schedule these in batches through the LIC bay so vehicles rotate out one or two at a time.
Logistics
Working in Manhattan
Getting to the LIC bay from Manhattan
From Midtown, the Queensboro Bridge or the Queens-Midtown Tunnel puts you on Northern Blvd within minutes. Drop the vehicle in the morning, or leave it overnight for a full wrap.
Why we rarely install on Manhattan streets
Vinyl wants a clean, dry, level surface out of the wind, and a curb lane in Chelsea rarely offers that. Full wraps and printed panels come to the bay.
Keeping a service fleet covered
If you run six vans into the city every day, you cannot park six vans for a week. We stage the work so one or two vehicles are with us at a time and the rest keep their routes.
Lettering for commercial parking
Commercial vehicle parking rules apply in Manhattan, and vans working there are usually lettered with the registrant name and address. See our lettering page for lettering that meets the NYC commercial vehicle definition.

Common questions from Manhattan
Can you wrap our vans in our Manhattan garage instead of at your shop?+
For lettering and smaller graphics, often yes, if the garage has room to open both doors fully and decent light. Full wraps and printed panels are done at our Long Island City bay, a short drive from Midtown.
Our crews work in the city every weekday. How do we get vehicles wrapped without losing them?+
We stage the fleet. One or two vans come in at a time while the rest stay on their routes. Send the fleet list and we will plan the rotation.
Do we need our address on the van to park commercially in Manhattan?+
Commercial vehicle parking rules apply, and lettering with the registrant name and address is the usual requirement. Details are on our lettering page.
Can you do a short-term wrap for a product launch in SoHo?+
Yes. Promo vehicles get a removable cast film built to come off cleanly afterwards. Send the dates, vehicle and artwork status and we will confirm what fits.
Let's scope your project.
Send the vehicle list and artwork status; we'll come back with a scope and timeline, in the bay at 4700 Northern Blvd or on site in Manhattan.
